Privacy Policy
How UltraMythos handles server logs, local browser storage, contact correspondence, and newsletter inquiries.
1. Actual Data Practices & Scope
UltraMythos is architected as a static-first web publication and interactive tool directory. We do not require user accounts, authentication passwords, or invasive cross-site behavioral tracking scripts to read our articles or use our browser utilities.
However, accessing any website on the public internet involves standard technical data processing. This Privacy Policy explains what data is processed when you visit UltraMythos.com, submit a form, or correspond with us.
2. Hosting & Server Access Logs
When your browser requests pages or assets from UltraMythos.com, our hosting infrastructure and content delivery network (CDN) automatically record standard HTTP access logs. These logs include your IP address, requested URL path, timestamp, HTTP response code, referrer header, and browser User-Agent string. Server logs are used strictly for security monitoring, abuse prevention, and diagnosing broken links, and are rotated according to standard hosting retention schedules (typically 30 to 90 days).
3. Interactive Utilities & Local Browser Storage
Our interactive calculators and discovery tools (such as the AI Subscription vs. API Break-Even Calculator, Hardware Matchmaker, and Tool Finder) execute entirely inside your local web browser via client-side JavaScript. Optional workspace preferences (such as saved calculator inputs or bookmarked tools) may be stored in your browser's localStorage. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to UltraMythos servers.
4. Newsletter Subscriptions & Email Correspondence
When you subscribe to the UltraMythos Dispatch or contact us via email, we collect the email address and any message context you voluntarily provide. Until an external ESP API endpoint is configured with live production credentials, our newsletter and contact forms prepare a transparent local confirmation or direct mailto dispatch to hello@ultramythos.com so your address is never silently sent to an undisclosed third party.
For privacy enquiries, data access requests, or deletion requests regarding correspondence you have sent us, contact privacy@ultramythos.com.
5. Third-Party Links & Outbound References
Our articles and directory listings contain direct outbound links to official documentation, manufacturer specification sheets, and software vendors. Once you click an outbound link to leave UltraMythos.com, the destination website's privacy policy governs your session.
